The health of our patients, physicians and staff is our highest priority. To ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and providers, Advanced ENT & Allergy has expanded their guidelines for treatment in the office. COVID-19 Patient Guidelines We are taking the following precautions in our office: Avoiding handshakes and skin to skin contact where possibleWearing gloves for necessary skin to skin contactWiping down surfaces with disinfectant numerous times a daySterilizing instruments as alwaysWashing our hands and using hand sanitizer after every patient contactMaking hand sanitizer accessible to all patients while in our officesAsking patients with a fever, new cough or new shortness of breath to cancel their appointmentsAsking patients to refrain from bringing their family members into the office (except for a child) to minimize contactsEncouraging distance between our patients in the waiting room. Covid Symptom Guide There are many symptoms that are common among COVID-19, allergies and colds. Please use this chart as a guide to help you. The ENT and allergy physicians at Advanced ENT & Allergy are available for virtual and live consults daily to help you with allergy and respiratory symptoms. COVID-19 Symptoms About the Covid Vaccine Important points regarding the COVID-19 vaccine: Individuals with allergies to food, insect, environment (pollen, mold, dust mites, pets), medications and latex are at NO GREATER RISK than the general public of having an allergic reaction to the vaccine.The vaccine is NOT A LIVE vaccine and may be administered to people with compromised immunity, although the response to the vaccine may be diminished in these individuals.If you have a h/o severe allergy to vaccines, or unexplained anaphylaxis, you should contact your health care provider or allergist. This is a rapidly evolving topic and information may change as the vaccine is widely administered.
