Shana Shah completed her undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (now Stockton University). She earned a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Towson University. Shana completed her clinical fellowship year at Lourdes Specialty Hospital (now Acuity Specialty Hospital) in Willingboro, NJ. Here, she worked with medically complex patients who had experienced ventilator-dependent respiratory failure and subsequently required tracheostomy tube placement.  Shana provided communication and swallowing therapy to assist patients in restoring their swallow function and maximizing their communicative capabilities. While working at Lourdes Specialty Hospital, she met her husband, Dr. Rasesh Shah of Advanced ENT & Allergy.

After earning her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association, Shana continued to work within the long term acute care hospital setting. Additionally, she assisted in providing outpatient speech and language services for pediatrics and provided early intervention services for children under three years old.

Originally from South Jersey, Shana has enjoyed working in the area and welcomed the opportunity to establish Speech-Language Pathology services for voice and swallowing disorders at Advanced ENT & Allergy. She enjoys a good challenge and staying active, but raising two children with her husband has been her most fulfilling accomplishment.

Shana evaluates and treats adult swallowing disorders and is able to perform modified barium swallow studies as well as fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of swallowing.  She also evaluates and treats pediatric and adult voice disorders.
